Isn’t it the basic courtesy to thank someone for a gift?

I’m blogging about this after few days it happened, and idk why I kept thinking when I shouldn’t have been bothered cause it meant nothing to me and no point hating it. The point is, it was just for fun and it din work out. But I just don’t get it, idk if I’ve change or probably you did?
