Me like friends that I don’t keep in touch gave me a call out of the blues and we talked over an hour without realising it.
It had been 3 friends so far. Very random ones, but hell ya, I missed you all! I wish I could get hold of a time machine and then return to the past when we were still in touch, going mad and stuff.
URGH! I miss school. damn it…
I’ve successfully painted the whole house. Just me and dad, for 3 consecutive weekends, 3 weeks lah, taking our own sweet time to paint, we crapped all the way, he’s even lame than me fyi, making my mum so effing frustrated listening to our noise and lame jokes.
House painted, so I should start finding my cookies recipe book, try lil of baking before making hell lot of them for hari raya. No confidence that it gonna turn out tasty, but I’ll still try since Im home always. 🙂
Idk why Im so geared up for raya this time, cos normally Im not like that. I haven’t got any pretty suits yet. Sad huh.. But nehmind, I’ll drop by geylang again, and I’ll get 2 suits for sure. What colour? Purple? White?

Fyi, she painted part of the living room too, and the bedroom doors. 🙂
Her dad helped a lil, but she painted the most.
Everywhere aches, the arms, the back, the thighs, and the worst she could ever imagine was she couldn’t get up after sitting too long on the ground at her cousin’s place for his engagement, err she looked like an old grandma seriously. Very humiliating.!
Despite suffering from the aches and extreme fatigue, she caught the NDP celebration at sengkang with her family. Wasn’t as exciting as at Padang, but the atmosphere was there, she got to see Hady Mirza live, caught the fireworks displays and saw a glimpse of the mobile display.
I missed the days the whole family goes to NDP!!!!!!
That should be 7-10 years ago? Yea, around there.

Let’s learn some EUPHEMISMS!!!
Euphemisms; a nicer way to say something nasty.
1) One toy short of a happy meal
Could mean: McDonald’s is short-changing you.
Actually means: A stupid person. There are countless other wonderful euphemisms for this, such as: “The wheel’s turning but the hamster’s dead” and “The lights are on but no one’s home.”
2) Dropping the kids off at the pool
Could mean: Bringing your little brats for their swimming lessons.
Actually means: Taking a dump, which, really, is another euphemism.
3) At room temperature
Could mean: The temperature in a standard enclosed space.
Actually means: That a person is dead. As in: “He’s at room temperature.” Its scientifically sound, but also a little cold and tactless.
4) Conjugal visit
Could mean: When prisoners are granted visits from their spouses for a romantic romp.
Actually means: Sex granted by a woman to her man, who happens to be at the point in time undeserving of such privilege. E.g. Alice is granting Alex a conjugal visit, even though he cheated on her.
5) A 2 at 10, and a 10 at 2
Could mean: Someone who doesn’t know how to tell time or who sucks at Maths. Or some bizarre military jargon.
Actually means: An ugly person who at 10pm, when you ‘r still sober, is a two on the good-looking scale. But by 2am, through beer-goggles…
6) Step on a frog
Could mean: Killing a poor amphibian.
Actually means: Farting. Possibly inspired by the dying croak of the frog, which may sound like a fart.
7) You’ve got windows on your laptop
Could mean: You forgot to turn off your computer.
Actually means: Your fly’s undone.
I needa revamp my room.
Yes!! I seriously have to for Hari Raya.
I wish it could be flora-themed, but doubt mum is gonna like it.
I would love to use flora wallpaper for only one wall of the bedroom, something like this, and it should fit perfectly with most flora wallpaper designs since all of my furnitures are in white.
This wallpaper is lovely too, but the design is a lil too detailed. The matching quilt cover and bed sheet are pretty!
I should at least start searching for flora quilt cover and bed sheet. Never mind if I couldn’t have the flora wallpaper.
Hmm.. I should have a table lamp too. This flora one would be nice. 🙂
